Thanks so much for a beautiful weekend. This is our 2nd stay with y'all (the 1st was about 2 months ago at Heart's Desire). And it keeps getting better! It is so great to be wrapped up in God's Splendor, He is ("I am") Jehovah Shalom or God of My Peace and The Spirit of Peace is heavy here. Thanks for providing a place to let Relaxation and peace abound! I pray that each person that enters here can hear greatly from God and on his throne! What a wonderful vacation at Pine Ridge! The weather was perfect, the environment so inviting and peaceful - a great getaway from home! Our daughter came from town and was truly impressed!! This was a great, great getaway and such a joy! It's our best vacation with our daughter prior to her getting married in the spring and she stated that this was one of the best vacations she has had! | | |

Brian had been to Gatlinburg 20 years ago, and suggested we come here for our first family vacation. At first family vacation. At first the idea of coming to the Mountain sounded boring. But coming here was the best decision. We all had a great time. The cabin was great, very comfortable. The kids loved the TV and hot tub. I loved the bed (It was very comfy, just like home). We went to a lot of places but the Old Mill and Aquarium were my favorites. The corn chowder from the Old Mill was sooooo good. We bought two mixes from there and brought it back here and had it for dinner that night. We also spent one day looking at different waterfalls. It is just so beautiful here. I have to have taken almost 200 pictures and bought 50-75 postcards. There were a couple of places I will not back to - Duff's Smorgasbord (it was very nasty and kind of dirty) All American Pancake house (more like All American Rip-off house). There were five of us, three kids, two adults. Kids breakfasts cost $3.99 each. We spent over $50. They charged us $1.60 per cup of coffee and $2.25 per glass (tiny glass) of juice. But most of all, the Dinosaur Walk Museum. $45 for four minutes of that walk through. But everywhere else was great! We love it here. The only thing missing was our dogs. Next June, we will come back and bring them. But until then, I will recommend this cabin to all of our family and friends. See ya Next June! Thanks for a great 6 days.
